SPX Opens Higher, Closes Lower as Rally Fades...Energy Leads Sectors as Technology and Consumer Discretionary Continues Lower...

The SPX -33.97 opened higher, pulled back, rallied until 1 pm, started selling off aggressively at 1 pm ET and at 2:30 pm ET before closing lower.


Mega caps GOOGL rose and NVDA, AMZN, MSFT, AAPL, TSLA, META fell.


SPY down 3.35 at 436.29, on 95.7 million shares, above average volume, close lower on higher volume.  
VIX up 1.11 at 17.89
QQQ down 3.96 at 358.58


CSCO, CVX, DOW, MMM led the DJIA, 9 advancers, +3
MRNA, JNPR, PFE, KEY, DFS led the SPX, 111 advancers
MRNA, GOOGL, PDD, FANG led the NDX, 15 advancers.

The two-year trend term is sideways.  The one-year trend is up.
