SPX Closes Lower after Last Hour Selloff...Utilities Lead Sectors as Technology, Consumer Discretionary Move Lower...

The SPX -33.53 opened lower, rallied, traded in a range, pulled back, rallied until 2 pm, traded in a range for an hour after FOMC minutes were released, and started selling off aggressively at 3 pm and closed lower.


Mega caps MSFT, AAPL, GOOG, NVDA, AMZN, META, TSLA fell.


SPY down 3.25 at 439.64, on 80.1 million shares, above average volume, close lower on higher volume.  
VIX up .32 at 16.78
QQQ down 3.88 at 362.54


TRV, HD, MRK, WMT led the DJIA, 6 advancers, +4
PGR, MKTX, ALL, TJX led the SPX, 111 advancers
MRNA, DDOG, KDP, ROST led the NDX, 16 advancers.

The two-year trend term is sideways.  The one-year trend is up.
