-VIX up 1.18, in front of Tuesday’s CPI report 8:30 am ET.

-Breadth was stronger on Monday.

-Semiconductor stocks gained SMH +4.34, +2.96% as

DXY, TLT and TNX closed higher, while /CL and GLD moved lower. 

Mega caps AMZN, META, TSLA, NVDA, AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL rose. 

SPY up 3.90 at 433.80, on 76.1 million shares, below average volume, up on lower volume.

VIX up 1.18 at 15.01

QQQ up 5.99 at 360.49

INTC, BA, CSCO, AAPL led the DJIA, 20 advancers, +1

CCL, CTLT, NCLH, ORCL led the SPX, 331 advancers
