SPX, NDX, and DJI opened lower, pulled back and traded in a
range until the Fed minutes were released at 2 pm EST. When the minutes did not show any indications
of the Fed tightening more aggressively than currently perceived, the SPX
rallied over 40 points to close up +3.94, at 4475. Russia, Ukraine invasion fear, remains a
geopolitical event risk.
After-hours EPS: AMAT, CSCO rally, NVDA moves lower.
SPY up .50 at 446.60, on 84.8 million shares, below average volume, up on lower volume.
VIX down 1.41 at 24.29
QQQ down .09 at 356.04
DIS, PG, NKE, BA led the DJIA, 13 advancers, -13
GNRC, ABMD, WAB, CINF led the SPX, 397 advancers.
KHC, ADI, ABNB, DDOG led the NDX, 45 advancers.
