Stocks Rally after FOMC Announcement...DJI Closes Above 33,000 for an All-time Closing High...

The DJI +189.42, +0.58%, closed at 33,015.  BA, CAT, MCD and AMGN led the point gain on Wednesday.
 
NDX +50.10, +0.38%, continued its channel bounce on Wednesday.
SPX +11.41, +0.29%, closed at 3,974, a new all-time closing high.
 
TSLA +3.68%, continued in a tight range for the sixth day.
 
Six of eleven sectors were higher on Wednesday, led XLY, XLI and XLB.
 
Consumer Discretionary leaders: LEN, GM, EXPE, DHI
Industrials leaders: UAL, ALK, GE, BA
Basic Materials leaders: DOW, FCX, LYB, WRK
 
SPY up 2.35 at 397.26 on 97.9 million shares, above average volume, up on higher volume.
VIX down .56 at 19.23
 
DOW, BA, CAT, MCD led the DJIA, 19 advancers, +5
LEN, GM, EXPE, DHI led the SPX, 312 advancers.
BIDU, TSLA, MU, MAR led the NDX, 50 advancers.

Advancers strengthened on Wednesday as advancers led 1,803 to 1,427 on the NYSE and led 2,468 to 1,667 on the NASDAQ.
