Stocks Start Lower End Higher after WMT Earnings Surprise to the Upside...

The DJIA, closed up 8 points at 25,891led by strength in WMT, PG, WBA, DIS and UTX. 

Nine of eleven sectors were higher on Tuesday, led by materials XLB +0.62% and utilities XLU +0.59%.

SPY up .48 at 277.85 on 59.0 million shares, 30% below average volume. Up on lower volume.
VIX down .03 at 14.88
Oil up .23 at 56.43
TLT up .31 at 122.29 on 5.8 million shares. 

WMT +2.21%, PG +1.53%, led the DJIA, 14 advancers, -14
PCG +14.60%, FCX +6.60% and NBL +4.68%, led the SPX.
WYNN +3.09%, JD +2.84%, NFLX +1.42%, and BIDU +1.41% led the NDX.

Long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is up.

Breadth weakened on Tuesday, as advancers led 1,850 to 1,037 on the NYSE and led 1,886 to 1,175 on the NASDAQ
