DJIA 26,773 All-time Closing High...

DIA, AAPL, BA, CSCO, DIS, MRK, MSFT and UNH hit new highs on Tuesday.

The DJIA, closed up 122 points at 26,773, an all-time new high close, led by strength in BA, MMM, CAT, AAPL and INTC.  This is the fifty-seventh consecutive close above 25,000 since June 15 and the fourteenth close above 26,000 since Feb 1.

Six of eleven sectors were higher, led by utilities XLU +1.35% and staples XLP +0.58%.

SPY down .17 at 291.56, on 47.2 million shares, 23% below average volume. Down on lower volume.

VIX up .05 at 12.05 

Oil down .43 at 75.04

TLT up .71 at 116.86 on 8.2 million shares. 

INTC +3.55%, CAT +1.67%, led the DJIA, 23 advancers, +0

PCG +3.55%, FLR +3.38% and AES +2.70%, led the SPX.

MELI +6.44%, DISH +2.23%, CELG +2.20%, and MYL +1.81%, led the NDX.

Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is sideways.

Breadth weakened slightly on Tuesday, as decliners led 1,783 to 1,138 on the NYSE and led 2,034 to 972 on the NASDAQ
