SQ, V and CRM hit new highs on Thursday.

The DJIA, closed up 54 points at 26,439, led by strength in AAPL, BA and UNH.  This is the fifty-fourth consecutive close above 25,000 since June 15 and the eleventh close above 26,000 since Feb 1.

Eight of eleven sectors were higher, led by utilities XLU +1.03% and communications XLC +0.86%.

SPY up .81 at 290.69, on 59.2 million shares, 3% below average volume. up on lower volume.

VIX down .48 at 12.41 

Oil up .15 at 72.19

TLT up .08 at 117.50 on 5.7 million shares. 

AAPL +2.06%, WBA +1.17%, led the DJIA, 17 advancers, +9

ALK +2.77%, FOSL +2.59% and NRG +2.50%, led the SPX.

REGN +3.70%, MELI +2.82%, TMUS +2.47%, and INCY +2.40%, led the NDX.

Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is sideways.

Breadth strengthened on Thursday, as advancers led 1,572 to 1,278 on the NYSE and led 1,467 to 1,442 on the NASDAQ
