DJIA Closes Above 25,000...DIA, SPY, IWM, QQQ Again Hit All-time Closing Highs...

The DJIA closed at 25,075 a new all-time high and its first close ever above 25,000.


Eight sectors were higher on Thursday, led by financial XLF +0.93% and materials XLB +0.87%.


SPY up 1.14 at 271.61 on 80.6 million shares, 2% below average volume.  Up on lower volume.
VIX up 0.07 at 9.22
Oil down .04 to 61.89
TLT down .02 at 126.07…on 9.2 million shares, 8% above average volume.  Near unchanged on higher volume.


GE +2.09%, and IBM +2.03%, led the DJIA, 22 advancers.
AMD +4.94%, SRCL +4.76%, and DLPH +4.52%, led the SPX.
MU +4.22%, WDAY +3.88%, MYL +2.71%, ADSK +2.46%, and SIRI +1.92%, led the NDX.


Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is up.

Up: DIA, SPY, IWM, QQQ
Down:  

Breadth was steady on Thursday, as advancers led 1,724 to 1,178 on the NYSE and led 1,754 to 1,139 on the NASDAQ.

The SPY MFC green line is in the upper zone at 95, bullish.
