BMO – ES -20.75 and NQ -33.50 futures are lower about 50 minutes before the open in pre-market trading and point to a lower open…volume is moderate for pre-market with more stocks quoting down than up…Financial stocks, XLF is down 23 cents on 150,300 shares in pre-market at this time…
TLT is up 18 and the Euro is up 84 pips after being as low as 1.3493 in overnight trading…
NDX leaders AAPL, AMZN, BIDU, GOOG, NFLX, PCLN and QCOM are quoting lower…
Dave’s Insight for Monday: Futures are lower after Asia and European markets moved lower as EU debt concerns continue…be mindful that gaps do have a tendency to at least partially fill…Once again we raise the question will US traders see Monday’s open as a buying opportunity similar to last Tuesday?...The five week trend is sideways and the two day short term trend is down with prices moving towards support…The Euro is bouncing off of overnight lows…protect bearish profits if a support bounce occurs…Take the trade according to your rules…Continue to trade with the short term trend and watch for a potential short term reversal as prices near support…Watch XLF as a key factor in any SPX move up or down…

Thank You. Still very much enjoy and learn form your blog, trading rooms and market wrap. I find your blog especially helpful as it is as close to daily real time as it gets. Doing pretty well these days trading, thanks to your help, efforts and GENEROSITY.
You don't need me to say it but you're a special man Dave Johnson.
Thank You, Tom Cunningham
Hey Dave - I really like your blog, esp. cause I'm a financial guy myself (You can see my blogs that I haven't updated forever by following my name).
Anyway, wanted to see if you'd like to write for Tiklar? (www.tiklar.com) There is a section there for Bizfin that I think you'd be great at writing for. It's a brand new website, so you'd certainly benefit from being the first to start.
Let me know if you have questions. Thanks!
